Why Integrity is Missing in Real Estate

THE COMMISSION TRAP

Real estate is one of the few industries where someone can make a five- or six-figure commission on a single transaction. That kind of money brings out the best in some people and the worst in others.

Too many agents are trained to “always be closing” instead of always being honest. That is how you end up with pressure, half-answers, and important details getting buried under hype. The client gets a house, the agent gets paid, and everyone pretends that is a win even if the deal never truly felt right.

WHAT INTEGRITY LOOKS LIKE IN PRACTICE

Integrity, to me, is what happens when no one is watching. It is the late-night phone call where I tell you about the hairline crack in the foundation that might scare off future buyers. It is advising you not to write an offer on a property that looks good on camera but feels wrong in person, even if it means losing a commission.

RADICAL ACCOUNTABILITY

When I built this brand, I wanted “accountability” to be more than a tagline. That means answering my phone when things get stressful, walking you through worst-case scenarios before you are emotionally attached, and being willing to say, “This is not the right house for you” even when you are excited.

YOUR PARTNER IN PUYALLUP

If you have worked with agents before who disappeared after the sale, you know exactly what I am talking about. My goal is simple: you should feel more informed, more protected, and more confident because I am in your corner, not in your way.
